Painting has always been my joy throughout life, it was my first love as a small child and my hope is that this joy would emulate through my paintings and into your home.
Inspiration for the landscape paintings

These original acrylic paintings are inspired by walks through meadows, hills and by the sea. Having grown up in South Wales, and visiting family in Devon and France.
I have always loved walks along the seashore or in beautiful gardens, these are precious memories you want to hold onto, where time slows down.
Artist journey in Acrylic Art Work
I now live in rural Northamptonshire with my husband and two grown up children with an abundance of beauty around me to gather inspiration, creating space to keep in touch with nature and keep me grounded.
I enjoy going for walks in the beautiful countryside where I live and experience new inspirations and ideas wherever I go. I love working both in my studio and in the summer house so I can feel a part of nature, being outside.

The Artistic process
I started out using mainly water colours and pastels and would paint delicate floral paintings and landscapes. Over the years I then discovered oils and acrylics, really enjoying acrylics my painting became more bold, fresh and bright in style and I now love to use a mixture of acrylics and pearlized acrylics, occasionally including mixed media.
Having studied a Fine Art Degree in the University of Wales, Newport School of Art & Design, I have continued to paint throughout my life and am now embracing the joy of creating what really inspires me and which has been a source of therapeutic comfort and joy throughout my life. I would love to share this artistic journey with you as you browse through the array of these original paintings.
